NOURISHING LIFE

Winter Somatic & Yoga Retreat
4 – 7 February 2027 · Dvůr Svatá Maří, Czech Republic

In the quiet embrace of winter, when the world slows down and much of nature rests beneath the surface, we gather to explore what helps life flourish.

Nourishing Life is an invitation to create space, nourishment and the conditions for what wants to emerge within us. Rather than striving for becoming someone else, we turn our attention to what is already alive inside us, listening for what needs more space to grow, more care, more connection, more rest, or perhaps simply a little more room to breathe.

Through somatic explorations, yin & restorative yoga, guided meditation, movement, connection, nature and a cacao ceremony, we will explore different ways of nourishing ourselves and each other.

A space to slow down, replenish and reconnect with the body.
A space for presence, play, curiosity and aliveness.
A space to tend the ground from which something new may grow.

Together, we will create a warm and nourishing circle where life can be felt, received and celebrated.

Retreat je vedený v angličtině, překlad do češtiny je možný.

The Environment

Our home for these days will be Dvůr Svatá Maří, a lovingly restored farmhouse in the South Bohemian countryside. Surrounded by forests and fields, the place itself radiates quiet healing energy—simple, intentional, and grounding.

Here you can walk in nature, warm yourself in the sauna, rest by the fire, or simply be. The cozy accommodation and nourishing vegetarian meals will support your body, while the tranquil setting opens the heart to deeper presence.

The Guidance

This retreat is guided by Šárka Soudková and Iara Lamat. With gratitude, we come together to co-create this retreat and to hold space for you in the heartful environment of Dvůr Svatá Maří.

About Us

Iara Lamat began her journey as a contemporary dancer in Buenos Aires. After discovering yoga in London, she immersed herself in mindfulness, meditation, and Zen practices. Since 2010, she has been teaching yoga, and since 2019, sharing Somatic Yoga and therapy—helping people reconnect with their bodies through mindful movement. She currently lives and practices in Prague.

Šárka Soudková, born in Prague, shifted from an academic and law enforcement path to embrace the calling of yoga teaching in 2012. Today she is a certified Trauma-Informed Somatic Teacher and Coach, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and facilitator of Trauma-Sensitive, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. Based in Tel Aviv, she guides people on a courageous journey of somatic healing, resilience, and authentic self-discovery. Her work weaves together body, psyche, and soul with deep respect for each person’s pace and life story.

Though our journeys began in different places, our paths have been intertwined for more than a decade. What unites us is a devotion to gentle, embodied practices that honor the wisdom of the body, the cycles of life, and the nourishing intelligence of nature. Guiding this retreat together is a heartfelt continuation of that shared path.
