OFFERINGS
Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-mind therapeutic approach designed to release stress, trauma, and tension stored in the body while integrating challenging experiences into one’s narrative. Unlike traditional talk therapies, SE emphasizes the awareness of physical sensations as a key pathway to healing.
Through gentle attention to the body’s natural rhythms and the process of reframing and making sense of past experiences, SE helps restore balance to the nervous system. This allows unresolved stress and trauma to be safely processed, fostering a new perspective on one’s situation. By supporting the body’s innate ability to heal, SE promotes resilience, emotional regulation, and a deeper connection to self.
Somatic Coaching
Somatic coaching is a holistic approach to foster personal growth, self-awareness and behavioral change that acknowledges the deep connection between the body, mind, and soul, providing a supportive, non-judgmental space to process stress, anxiety, burnout, and self-doubt, while reconnecting with your authentic self.
Through the process, which involves body-mind tools drawn from Internal Family System and Focusing, integrates movement, somatic meditation and honest reflection, we work together to explore the ways your lived experiences are held in your body, gently allowing time and space to process and integrate them and gradually move toward greater embodiment. Somatic coaching helps you align with your inner rhythms, values, and intentions, empowering you to make embodied decisions, live with clarity, compassion, and creativity.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is specifically designed to support individuals who have experienced trauma by prioritizing safety, self-agency, and mindfulness. Unlike many conventional yoga classes, TCTSY emphasizes choice and empowerment, offering movements as gentle invitations rather than directives. Participants are encouraged to explore what feels right for their body in the moment, fostering a sense of control and connection to self.
In trauma-sensitive yoga, there are no hands-on adjustments or expectations to achieve specific poses, creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment. This approach shifts the focus from performance to self-awareness, allowing participants to rebuild trust in their body and cultivate a sense of safety, presence, and empowerment.
Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is a personalized and holistic approach to well-being, integrating yoga practices to address specific physical, mental, or emotional challenges. It views each person as a whole—body, mind, and spirit—combining breathwork, movement, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques to promote balance and healing.
Designed to support your unique needs, yoga therapy can help manage chronic conditions, reduce stress, improve mental health, and enhance overall resilience. To foster lasting change, it often includes tailored lifestyle recommendations and simple home practices that empower you to take an active role in your healing journey.
